The Broken Nut Valve Wrench is designed for quick response when a gate valve operating nut is broken off - a problem that can quickly create an emergency. After removing the broken nut with a New Concept Tools wrench, attach the broken nut valve wrench to a T-handle with a bolt and nut, then lower it into the valve box. The spring-loaded pipe wrench jaws slide around the valve stem and allow you to open or close the valve while standing at ground level by turning the wrench. The spring-loaded jaw is reversible, allowing operation of both open-right and open-left valves. The complete assembly includes a T-handle in your choice of length from 6' to 12'.
