Save time, money, and hassle with the Box Seat. This 8" diameter device is made from high-strength plastic for corrosion-resistant reliability. Designed to solve the costly, frustrating problems that can arise when a valve box base shifts off-center during the back-filling process, the Box Seat is easy to install. Remove the valve's operating nut, slide the Box Seat over the valve stem, and replace the nut. The Box Seat then centers the valve box base around the operating nut, protects the base from back-fill debris, and allows surface water drainage.
